Amaya keyboard shortcuts for Mac OSX

Ctrl F Mac Word

Amaya keyboard shortcuts for Mac OSX. Amaya defines two kinds of keyboard shortcuts for Mac OS X: shortcuts using standard Apple modifier keys (ex. Cmd+C to copy the selection) and shortcuts using sequences (ex. Ctrl-t Ctrl-t to create a table). However, on notebooks and some smaller MAC keyboards (like the wireless keyboard), there is no DEL key. For example, I have a macbook air without the DEL key. Apple says you should press FN-BACKSPACE is the same as DEL. So the combination would be: CTRL-ALT-FN-BACKSPACE. But that doesn't work. I even tried FN-CTRL-ALT-CMD-BACKSPACE without luck. Alt+H, F, W or Ctrl+F. Reply to a meeting request with a message. Select the Reply All option. Show one day in the calendar. Show two days in the calendar. Show three days in the calendar. Show four days in the calendar. Show five days in the calendar. Show six days in the calendar. Control+F, or Command+F on a Mac, is the keyboard shortcut for the Find command. If you're in a web browser and want to search text on a web page, pressing Control+F will bring up a search box. When doing research using the computer, few tools are as useful as the 'Find' option. Sadly many users do not know how to use this tool, and some do not know.

Amaya defines two kinds of keyboard shortcuts for Mac OS X: shortcuts usingstandard Apple modifier keys (ex. Cmd+C to copy the selection) and shortcutsusing sequences (ex. Ctrl-t Ctrl-t to create a table). As Mac OS X users arenot familiar with shortcut sequences in menu entries, only standard shortcutsare shown by default. To display them, you have to select the optionDisplay all shortcuts in thePreferences > General dialog and restart Amaya.

I just recently switched from a PC to a macbook pro, and there's just one thing that's bugging me. Does safari have anything similar to ctrl+F? Internet Explorer had this thing where you held control, hit F, and then a window with a text box popped up. You typed a search query into it and then it found all instances on the page, then you could scroll through the other instances of the query on the page. It was really useful, and now researching/looking for things is kind of annoying without it.
Also, I know firefox doesn't have a place on the apple discussion forums, but I have the same problem with the second new browser I've started using, so it would save me another post on another forum if anybody knew how to solve this problem on Firefox 3 as well.
